sustainable pasture-raised BEEF, PORK & eggs
In addition to raising our cattle on pasture, we also feed mash (spent brewers grain) that we get from Old 690 Brewing Company (Hillsboro, VA) and Aslin Beer Company (Herndon, VA). How does the beef turn out when you mix pasture and mash? Well marbled and full of flavor!
We help Old 690 Brewing recycle their mash by feeding it to our cows and the mash provides a nice high-protein supplement for the cows. The cows LOVE mash. If you’ve ever been to the farm you’ve probably heard them hollerin’ for more! We pick up the mash a couple times a week and feed it daily. This helps our pastures out a bit by reducing forage intake and increases our interaction with them -- a huge benefit that creates calm cattle and significantly decreases stress associated with handling. A calm, trusting and content cow is good for them and great for us!
We'd love to talk to you about partnering and recycling your mash by feeding it to our cows. LET'S TALK MASH & MARKETING.

We are currently raising and breeding a combination of Hereford, Simmental and Red Angus cattle. We strive to maintain a herd with workable attitudes and productive natures that perform well on pasture.
We practice rotational grazing and manage our beef cattle to prioritize herd and soil health and actively manage our pastures to promote diversified and nutritional forage.
We offer a variety of individually vacuumed sealed cuts of beef. Download our beef price sheet >>
Our standard cuts are below and we occasionally have a few special cuts in the freezer...
